The Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. hosted its annual Community Cookout on August 23, 2025, at Chambers Park in Annapolis, Maryland. The day was filled with great food, music, and fellowship — but most importantly, it showcased how partnership, unity, and service come together to strengthen the community.

Eta Eta Lambda Chapter Brothers proudly participated in the Fourth Annual Alpha Preakness event, a festive fundraiser supporting community initiatives. On Sunday, May 4, 2025, brothers of the Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., joined by neighboring Alpha chapters and members of the Divine Nine (D9), participated in the March for Babies—a nationwide initiative under the March of Dimes Foundation. The event raises awareness and funds to improve the health of mothers and babies across the United States.

The Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. hosted its 4th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Mathewstown Harmon Park in Hanover, Maryland — bringing together families, friends, and neighbors for an afternoon filled with Easter baskets, dancing, laughter, and community spirit.

During Session 5 of the Alpha Academy Mentoring Program, high school mentees participated in an engaging discussion on Project Alpha, led by guest speaker Bro. Dr. Hector Knox, MD. The session also included important conversations on mental and physical health, emphasizing wellness as a foundation for leadership and success.

At the recent MAAC District Conference in Salisbury, Maryland, the Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. was proud to celebrate Brother Andre Dillard, who was named the Alpha Man of Merit for the district. Additionally, Brother Brian Boles addressed the delegation as co-lead of the district's brother reclamation efforts, highlighting the upcoming ‘1-9 event,’ a day dedicated to reconnecting and strengthening brotherhood across the fraternity.
