On October 30, 2025, brothers, friends, and supporters gathered at Red Robin in Gambrills, Maryland for our monthly Karaoke Fundraiser — but this month came with an extra dose of fun: Costume Night!
The energy was high from start to finish, as participants showed off their singing skills and creative costumes. The highlight of the evening came when Brothers Brian Boles and Bishara Bates both arrived dressed as LL Cool J, embodying the 1980s hip-hop icon with style and confidence. Staying in character all night, they delivered crowd-pleasing renditions of some of LL’s biggest hits — adding humor and nostalgia to an already lively night.
Music was provided by DJ Waterboy, who kept the energy going with an incredible mix of classics and karaoke favorites. Photos by Hood Event Photo captured the laughter, costumes, and camaraderie that made the event truly memorable.
As always, the evening was about not only fun but also philanthropy. Twenty percent of all food sales were donated back to the Eta Eta Lambda Foundation, Inc., directly supporting our programs and community outreach initiatives.
“Karaoke Night is more than a fundraiser — it’s fellowship, community, and fun rolled into one,” said a foundation representative. “The costumes made this one unforgettable!”
The Eta Eta Lambda Foundation continues to show that giving back can be fun, impactful, and full of brotherhood.
