On June 21, 2025, brothers of the Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. proudly participated in the Anne Arundel County Juneteenth Festival at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds. The chapter hosted an informational tent to engage the community about Alpha Phi Alpha’s mission, national programs, and local initiatives—including Alpha Academy—while also promoting voter registration and civic engagement.

Shadow Day with Senator Shaneka Henson
Yesterday was an unforgettable day for Bro. Dillard's mentee Josh, a freshman at UMES! He had the privilege of coordinating a Shadow Day for him with Senator Shaneka Henson, and her amazing Chief of Staff made sure Josh even got to meet Bro. Governor Moore. The whole day, Josh kept saying, "I can't believe this is happening to me!"
