As part of World Financial Planning Month, Eta Eta Lambda Chapter had the distinct honor of participating in the Building Legacy: Generational Wealth Panel Discussion hosted at the Government House of Maryland in Annapolis.

The event, organized by Maryland First Lady Dawn Flythe Moore in partnership with Bank of America, focused on empowering families with tools and insights to create sustainable financial futures. The discussion addressed topics such as wealth transfer, homeownership, financial literacy, and access to capital — all vital components in bridging generational wealth gaps.

Representing Eta Eta Lambda was Brother President Michael Berrty, who joined civic and community leaders in support of initiatives that align with Alpha Phi Alpha’s mission of “Manly Deeds, Scholarship, and Love for All Mankind.”
