City of Annapolis Honors Bro. Michael Bertty for Leadership and Service
The Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. was honored with a City Council Citation from the City of Annapolis in recognition of its outstanding service, leadership, and civic engagement within the community. The award was presented during a ceremony at Annapolis City Hall on October 27, 2025, and accepted by Chapter President Brother Michael Bertty on behalf of the chapter.

Additionally, Brother Brian Boles addressed the delegation as co-lead of the district's brother reclamation efforts, highlighting the upcoming ‘1-9 event,’ a day dedicated to reconnecting and strengthening brotherhood across the fraternity.
