On June 7, 2025, the Community Health Center at Parole, Inc. presented the Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. with a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of the chapter’s continued commitment to service and leadership within the Annapolis community.
The award, signed by Phyllis Collins and Deborah Johnson, Co-Chairs of the Scholarship Fundraiser, and Alec K. Wright, RN, President of the Health Center, acknowledges the fraternity’s “outstanding contribution and dedication as valuable members of our community.”
For decades, Eta Eta Lambda has worked hand-in-hand with local organizations to advance health awareness, education, and access for underserved residents. Through health fairs, scholarship fundraisers, and collaborative outreach programs, the chapter continues to uphold its mission of “Manly Deeds, Scholarship, and Love for All Mankind.”
“Community partnerships like this remind us that progress is a shared journey. We are honored to support the Health Center’s mission and to stand alongside those improving the lives of Annapolis families.”— Bro. Michael Bertty, Chapter President
