On January 31, 2026, the Eta Eta Lambda Chapter participated in the annual Polar Plunge for the fourth consecutive year. Despite challenging weather conditions, the event successfully raised funds to support the Special Olympics, demonstrating the chapter's commitment to community engagement and service.

The Eta Eta Lambda Chapter honored Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through a successful Day of Service, providing essential items to those in need. The chapter's commitment to service exemplified the values of compassion and brotherhood.

On December 18, 2025, the Eta Eta Lambda Chapter participated in a D9 Portrait Session that highlighted the achievements of four distinguished members of the National Pan-Hellenic Council. This initiative not only honors their legacy but also reinforces the chapter's commitment to showcasing excellence within the community.

The Eta Eta Lambda Chapter proudly supported the Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority during their Annual Christmas Happy Hour at the All American Steakhouse in Odenton, MD. This event fostered fellowship and strengthened partnerships within the community.

The Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. was honored with a City Council Citation from the City of Annapolis in recognition of its outstanding service, leadership, and civic engagement within the community. The award was presented during a ceremony at Annapolis City Hall on October 27, 2025, and accepted by Chapter President Brother Michael Bertty on behalf of the chapter.

Over the past year, Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. has made it a priority to deepen relationships with local fraternities, sororities, and community partners. Through intentional visits and open dialogue, our chapter continues to foster unity, strengthen collaboration, and build bridges that advance shared missions of service, scholarship, and leadership.

In recognition of World Financial Planning Month, members of the Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. attended a Generational Wealth Building Panel Discussion at the Government House of Maryland in Annapolis. The event, hosted by Maryland First Lady Dawn Moore and Bank of America, brought together community leaders to explore strategies for building legacy and financial resilience within families.

Brothers of Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. joined our fraternity brothers of the Kappa Epsilon Lambda Chapter for their annual Summer Cookout, celebrating fellowship, food, and the joy of brotherhood.

Brothers of the Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. joined the community and local law enforcement for National Night Out, hosted by the Anne Arundel County Police Department – Eastern District. The event celebrated unity, awareness, and collaboration between neighbors and police, with a special focus on suicide prevention.

The event featured interactions with racehorses, entertainment, and royal participation from city and state dignitaries. Thanks to collective efforts, the event successfully raised funds to benefit local programs, underscoring our fraternity's ongoing dedication to service and community development.
