Brotherhood extends beyond our own chapter—it thrives through collaboration, respect, and mutual support across the Divine Nine and our broader community. This year, under the leadership of our Chapter President, Eta Eta Lambda has embarked on a deliberate effort to visit and engage with neighboring Greek organizations and civic partners in and around Annapolis.
Each visit served as an opportunity to share our initiatives, explore opportunities for joint programming, and celebrate the common values that unite us in service to our communities.
Our visits included:
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. – Delta Pi Omega Chapter – March 14, 2025
Alpha Kappa Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. – September 4, 2025
Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. – September 6, 2025
Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. – July 7, 2025
William Wallace Lodge – September 15, 2025
Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Iota Alpha Lambda Chapter – October 8, 2025
Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. (SGR) – December 21, 2024
Each visit reinforced the importance of partnership and the collective impact we can achieve when we work together. Whether it was discussing mentorship programs, community service projects, or upcoming civic initiatives, these exchanges helped strengthen the bonds of friendship and brotherhood that define the spirit of Alpha Phi Alpha.
“Unity is strength. When there is teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved.”— Mattie Stepanek
We look forward to continuing this momentum—cultivating more opportunities for collaboration that uplift our youth, empower our communities, and amplify our shared commitment to “Manly Deeds, Scholarship, and Love for All Mankind.”
