Brotherhood Smoke Event: Strengthening Our Bonds

On Thursday, March 19, 2026, the Eta Eta Lambda Chapter Membership

Committee hosted its inaugural Brotherhood Smoke event of the year at

Aphelion Cigar Lounge, a proud black-owned business located in

Gambrills, Maryland. This event brought together approximately ten

Brothers to engage in fellowship and enjoy March Madness basketball

games, reinforcing the bonds of Brotherhood that are central to our

Fraternity's mission.

The Brotherhood Smoke event is rooted in a tradition initiated by our

Founders, aimed at strengthening the connections among Brothers in a

relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. This gathering not only provided an

opportunity for camaraderie but also aligned with our commitment to

fostering internal fellowship and support within the chapter.

Participants benefited from the chance to connect with one another,

share experiences, and enjoy the company of fellow Brothers. The event

underscored the importance of maintaining our fraternal ties and the

value of engaging in meaningful interactions outside of formal chapter

activities.

As we reflect on the success of this event, the chapter is committed

to continuing the Brotherhood Smoke gatherings at least once per

quarter throughout the year. We look forward to welcoming more

Brothers to future events, further enriching our community and

strengthening our Brotherhood.
