Eta Eta Lambda Chapter Recognized by Anne Arundel County Executive for Outstanding Service

On June 7, 2025, the Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. was honored with an Executive Citation from Anne Arundel County Executive Steuart L. Pittman. The recognition celebrates the chapter’s outstanding leadership, volunteerism, and partnership in advancing the well-being of communities across the county.

The citation acknowledges Eta Eta Lambda’s “outstanding commitment and dedicated service to your community and the citizens of Anne Arundel County,” and extends appreciation for the fraternity’s role in making Anne Arundel County “The Best Place – For All.”

This honor underscores the chapter’s active involvement in a wide range of initiatives—from mentoring young men through Alpha Academy, to health and wellness outreach, to collaborations that uplift underserved communities. Each effort reflects the fraternity’s national aims of “Manly Deeds, Scholarship, and Love for All Mankind.”
