On a vibrant February evening in Laurel, the Eta Eta Lambda Chapter and Foundation turned 5 Sister’s Restaurant and Lounge into a celebration of Black joy and carefree vibes. Proceeds supported the Foundation’s scholarship fund, and the night was pulsing with music by Brothers Anthony Pittman and Michael Hardman, Sr. Midway through, the shopping center lost power — but the party didn’t stop. The Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., in partnership with the Eta Eta Lambda Foundation and EnBloom Collective, has launched a community garden in Annapolis, Maryland. This past Friday HHΛ brothers were able to participate in Annapolis Middle School’s First Annual Black History Month program. This event was able to highlight organizations across the county as well as the AACO-NPHC. On behalf of the HHΛ foundation, we were able to present a check to the school in the amount of $4050.60 towards school uniforms for the students.
