Eta Eta Lambda Chapter & Foundation Bring Black Joy to Laurel: Live Your Life Day Party — February 2025
On a vibrant February evening in Laurel, the Eta Eta Lambda Chapter and Foundation turned 5 Sister’s Restaurant and Lounge into a celebration of Black joy and carefree vibes. Proceeds supported the Foundation’s scholarship fund, and the night was pulsing with music by Brothers Anthony Pittman and Michael Hardman, Sr. Midway through, the shopping center lost power — but the party didn’t stop. The Blackout Party was born!

Eta Eta Lambda Chapter Continues Community Garden Initiative in Partnership with Eta Eta Lambda Foundation and EnBloom Collective
The Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., in partnership with the Eta Eta Lambda Foundation and EnBloom Collective, has launched a community garden in Annapolis, Maryland. Led by Brother Michael Ligons, the project engages local youth in learning about planting, sustainability, and Earth's energy sources, fostering educational growth and community health.

Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County Donates $50,000 to Support Alpha Academy.
The Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County (CFAAC) awarded a $50,000 grant to the Eta Eta Lambda Foundation in support of the Alpha Academy Mentoring Program (AAMP)—a transformative initiative empowering young men through mentorship, leadership training, and academic excellence.

HHL Community Cookout
ANNAPOLIS, MD. The Eta Eta Lambda Foundation Sponsors Successful Inaugural Golf Tournament
CROWNSVILLE, MD. On June 2, 2023, the Eta Eta Foundation, the 501c(3) partner of the Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, hosted its first ever Golf Tournament to benefit the foundation’s scholarship granting endeavors. Eta Eta Lambda Foundation Donates $4050.60 to Annapolis Middle School
This past Friday HHΛ brothers were able to participate in Annapolis Middle School’s First Annual Black History Month program. This event was able to highlight organizations across the county as well as the AACO-NPHC. On behalf of the HHΛ foundation, we were able to present a check to the school in the amount of $4050.60 towards school uniforms for the students.
