The Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. hosted its annual Community Cookout on August 23, 2025, at Chambers Park in Annapolis, Maryland. The day was filled with great food, music, and fellowship — but most importantly, it showcased how partnership, unity, and service come together to strengthen the community.

Brothers of the Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. joined the community and local law enforcement for National Night Out, hosted by the Anne Arundel County Police Department – Eastern District. The event celebrated unity, awareness, and collaboration between neighbors and police, with a special focus on suicide prevention.

The Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. received recognition from Arundel High School for its ongoing support of students through the In-School Alpha Academy Program—a mentoring initiative focused on career planning, financial responsibility, and leadership development.

Eta Eta Lambda Chapter Brothers proudly participated in the Fourth Annual Alpha Preakness event, a festive fundraiser supporting community initiatives. The event featured interactions with racehorses, entertainment, and royal participation from city and state dignitaries. Thanks to collective efforts, the event successfully raised funds to benefit local programs, underscoring our fraternity's ongoing dedication to service and community development.

Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. proudly served as hosts and escorts for the “Sister II Sister Sorority Luncheon”—a celebration of sisterhood, empowerment, and unity among the women of the Divine Nine.

On June 21, 2025, brothers of the Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. proudly participated in the Anne Arundel County Juneteenth Festival at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds. The chapter hosted an informational tent to engage the community about Alpha Phi Alpha’s mission, national programs, and local initiatives—including Alpha Academy—while also promoting voter registration and civic engagement.

On Saturday, June 7, 2025 we brought Official Greetings to the Anne Arundel County Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc - Pi Zeta Sigma Chapter.
