Alpha Academy - Celebrating a Powerful Year of Growth and Mentorship

Today marked the culmination of another impactful year for our Saturday Academy and two in-school high school programs at Arundel HS and Annapolis HS. We wrapped up the season with our inaugural Lawrence E. Knight End-of-Year Banquet—Dream It. Believe It. Aceive It.

Mentees, parents, and mentors came together to reflect on the year’s accomplishments. From chess lessons that sharpened young minds in elementary school, to hands-on activities like the Pinewood Derby and Quadcopter Drone projects for our middle schoolers, to career development and life skills training for our high school students, this year has been full of meaningful experiences.

Attendees also had the opportunity to hear powerful testimonials from mentees and their parents and were inspired by a keynote address from the Eastern Region’s Alpha Man of Merit, Bro. Andre Dillard,
