Taking Care of Yourself and Presenting Yourself as a Black Male

Today's session began with a discussion led by Bro. Brian Boles, Bro. Dexter Moore and Bro. Gerald Russell on "Taking Care of Yourself and Presenting Yourself as a Black Male." It focused on hygiene, etiquette, style, and grooming. The students learned about the importance of 1st impressions, daily cleaning routines, properly wearing and accessorizing a suit, tying a tie, properly shaking hands, and being respectful to women.

Brother Michael Bertty excited the students about the pinewood derby cars they would make with their mentors. He showed some examples of cars and received great ideas from the students on other designs. Each student received a pinewood derby car to put into their shoeboxes.
