MLK Day of Service

The Brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., Eta Eta Lambda Chapter coordinated an MLK Day of Service event on January 16, 2023. The event, supported by the ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., Delta Pi Omega Chapter, Mr. Allan Griffin, owner of B & A Brothers Driving School, and Delegate Shaneka Henson, took place at Chambers park. Hot meals, clothing, toiletries, and non-perishable food items were provided to anyone who showed up between 12 noon and 2 pm.

Eta Eta Lambda is committed to servicing those in need and works to do so not just on MLK Day but throughout the year. We especially take pride in being able to provide for those in need on the day when the nation celebrates the life and philosophies of our dear fraternity brother, the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
