Taking Care of Yourself and Presenting Yourself as a Black Male

Taking Care of Yourself and Presenting Yourself as a Black Male

Today's session began with a discussion led by Bro. Brian Boles, Bro. Dexter Moore, and Bro. Gerald Russell on "Taking Care of Yourself and Presenting Yourself as a Black Male." It focused on hygiene, etiquette, style, and grooming. The students learned about the importance of 1st impressions, daily cleaning routines, properly wear and accessorize a suit, tie a tie, properly shake hands, and the importance of being respectful to women.
Brother Michael Bertty got the students excited about the pinewood derby cars they would make with their mentors. He showed some example cars and received some great ideas from the students on other designs. Each student received a pinewood derby car to put into their shoeboxes.
