The Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. hosted its annual Community Cookout on August 23, 2025, at Chambers Park in Annapolis, Maryland. The day was filled with great food, music, and fellowship — but most importantly, it showcased how partnership, unity, and service come together to strengthen the community.

The annual Fundraising Crab Feast of The Eta Eta Lambda Foundation, Inc. was once again a huge success — great food, endless laughter, lively dancing, and memories we’ll be talking about for years to come. Every few months, brothers of the Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. gather for a Brotherhood Smoke—an evening of relaxation, conversation, and connection. These gatherings have become a valued tradition within the chapter, celebrating fellowship while supporting Black-owned cigar lounges throughout the region.

We honor the life of Brother Lester Sims, a cherished member of Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., whose dedication and service left a lasting legacy. Initiated in 1990, Brother Sims' unwavering commitment to brotherhood and community continue to inspire us all. His transition in May 2025 was marked by a heartfelt Omega Service, celebrating his remarkable journey and eternal impact.
