Springtime joy was in full bloom as the Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. held its 4th Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Mathewstown Harmon Park in Hanover, Maryland.
Brothers welcomed dozens of children and families from the local community for a fun-filled afternoon that featured Easter basket giveaways, dancing, games, and of course—plenty of eggs to hunt! Participants were divided into age groups to ensure every child had an equal chance to join in the excitement, with brothers and volunteers helping guide the little ones along the way.
Beyond the laughter and festive music, the event embodied the spirit of Alpha Phi Alpha’s commitment to community connection and family engagement. Events like this not only bring smiles to children’s faces but also strengthen relationships among residents and families in the Hanover area.
“It’s always amazing to see our community come together for something so simple yet so meaningful. The Easter Egg Hunt has become one of our favorite annual traditions.”— Bro. Calvin Cass, Event Chair
Eta Eta Lambda extends a heartfelt thank you to all who attended, volunteered, and supported this year’s event. The chapter looks forward to making next year’s Easter celebration even bigger and brighter!
