Fellowship remains one of the cornerstones of Alpha brotherhood, and the Brotherhood Smoke events continue that legacy in style.
On July 7, 2025, and on September 25, 2025, brothers from the Eta Eta Lambda Chapter come together at various cigar bars to relax, reflect, and enjoy one another’s company. These informal gatherings provide a welcome space for brothers to unwind outside of chapter meetings—sharing stories, laughter, and camaraderie over a good cigar.
More than just a social outing, the Brotherhood Smoke series is also an intentional effort to support Black-owned businesses across the area. By rotating venues and patronizing local cigar lounges, the chapter strengthens community ties and encourages economic empowerment within minority-owned establishments.
“Brotherhood Smoke isn’t just about cigars—it’s about connection, culture, and community. We’re carrying forward a tradition that honors fellowship and supports Black entrepreneurship.”— Bro. Shelley White - Chair, Membership Committee
Through these ongoing events, Eta Eta Lambda continues to nurture both brotherhood and business, reinforcing that service and fellowship go hand in hand.
