On April 3, 2024, the brothers of the Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. officially kicked off Charter Month with an evening of fellowship and philanthropy. The celebration took place at Illusions Restaurant and Bar in Glen Burnie, Maryland, where members and guests gathered to enjoy good music, great food, and even greater company.
Admission to the Happy Hour served as a donation to the March of Dimes, reinforcing Alpha Phi Alpha’s national commitment to improving the health of mothers and babies. The event seamlessly blended brotherhood, community engagement, and service, setting the tone for a month of meaningful celebration and outreach.
“Charter Month is about honoring our roots while giving back to the community that continues to support us. Starting with the March of Dimes reminds us that service is at the heart of everything we do.”— Bro. Shelley White, Chair, Membership Committee
This event marked the first of several Charter Month activities designed to strengthen bonds within the fraternity and continue Eta Eta Lambda’s proud tradition of Manly Deeds, Scholarship, and Love for All Mankind.
