Following the filled to capacity MAAC breakfast, The Eta Eta Lambda Chapter hosted a Celebratory Day Party in Annapolis at El Torro Bravo II. Over 100 guests attended the day party, which was planned and executed by a committee led by Brother Jason Wilder, a 32-year brother of the fraternity. Brothers Tony Pittman and Michael Hardman, Sr. kept the crowd moving on the turn tables. There were members from other Divine Nine Organizations present including Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Delta Sigma Theta, Sorority, Incorporated, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated. The chapter appreciates the support for our partners in greekdom especially as the chapter endeavored to party with a purpose. Portions of the proceeds from the event will support the chapter’s philanthropic efforts through the Eta Eta Lambda Foundation, of which Brother Michael Ligons, Jr., is the new chair.The Eta Eta Lambda Chapter joins all of the Brothers of the Fraternity is honoring our seven Jewels for their vision, tenacity, and spirit. It is an honor to be able to continue and celebrate their legacy.
