Brothers of the Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. joined the community and local law enforcement for National Night Out, hosted by the Anne Arundel County Police Department – Eastern District. The event celebrated unity, awareness, and collaboration between neighbors and police, with a special focus on suicide prevention.

Eta Eta Lambda Chapter Brothers proudly participated in the Fourth Annual Alpha Preakness event, a festive fundraiser supporting community initiatives. The event featured interactions with racehorses, entertainment, and royal participation from city and state dignitaries. Thanks to collective efforts, the event successfully raised funds to benefit local programs, underscoring our fraternity's ongoing dedication to service and community development.

Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. proudly served as hosts and escorts for the “Sister II Sister Sorority Luncheon”—a celebration of sisterhood, empowerment, and unity among the women of the Divine Nine.

In recognition of outstanding leadership and civic engagement, the City of Annapolis presented a City Council Citation to the Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. This honor highlights the chapter’s steadfast commitment to service, mentorship, and community partnership throughout Annapolis and Anne Arundel County.

On June 21, 2025, brothers of the Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. proudly participated in the Anne Arundel County Juneteenth Festival at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds. The chapter hosted an informational tent to engage the community about Alpha Phi Alpha’s mission, national programs, and local initiatives—including Alpha Academy—while also promoting voter registration and civic engagement.

The Community Health Center at Parole, Inc. recognized the Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. with a Certificate of Appreciation for its dedicated service and partnership in promoting community wellness and engagement throughout Annapolis.

Anne Arundel County Executive Steuart L. Pittman presented an Executive Citation to the Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., recognizing the chapter’s enduring commitment to civic engagement, mentorship, and service to the residents of Anne Arundel County.

On February 25, 2025, brothers of the Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. joined members of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. for a night of fellowship and fun at the Annapolis Bowl—supporting their chapter’s bowling fundraiser in the spirit of unity and community collaboration.

On a vibrant February evening in Laurel, the Eta Eta Lambda Chapter and Foundation turned 5 Sister’s Restaurant and Lounge into a celebration of Black joy and carefree vibes. Proceeds supported the Foundation’s scholarship fund, and the night was pulsing with music by Brothers Anthony Pittman and Michael Hardman, Sr. Midway through, the shopping center lost power — but the party didn’t stop. The Blackout Party was born!
