The event celebrated unity, awareness, and collaboration between neighbors and police, with a special focus on suicide prevention.

On a vibrant February evening in Laurel, the Eta Eta Lambda Chapter and Foundation turned 5 Sister’s Restaurant and Lounge into a celebration of Black joy and carefree vibes. Proceeds supported the Foundation’s scholarship fund, and the night was pulsing with music by Brothers Anthony Pittman and Michael Hardman, Sr. Midway through, the shopping center lost power — but the party didn’t stop.
